Investor Responsibility & Engagement Analyst - Saudi Arabia

Our organization has grown significantly over the past decade and we are looking for a motivated candidate to join our team as a Responsible Investment & Engagement Analyst to help us better the financial industry in Saudi Arabia as we continue our expansion across the globe.
The Opportunity:
The Investor Responsibility & Engagement Analyst will be the local office subject matter expert on Responsible Investing/ESG and Shariah Investing, and will support the institutional sales and service teams. You will be a valuable resource to these teams and will attend meetings with clients and prospective clients to discuss our responsible investment practices.
You will also be part of the team that reviews client portfolios and engages corporations in dialogue over environmental, social and governance (ESG) practices and performance. You will apply your research and analytical skills to encourage ESG practices that create and retain shareholder value. You will also write case studies and provide support to local institutional colleagues on ad-hoc projects.
Thanks to your contributions, Fisher Investments Arabia will be better prepared to meet with decision makers at some of the worlds largest pensions, foundations, endowments, sovereign wealth funds, family offices, and corporations and vie for the business of managing their assets!
The Day-to-Day:

• Be a resource for sales and service teams on RI & Shariah Investment topics. Includes responding to client requests and attending external meetings as requested
• Conduct corporate engagement on ESG issues. This is a complex process that includes: conducting research and analysis of corporate data, coordinating with others, and attending meetings with corporate executives regarding corporate ESG policies, practices and performance
• Manage assigned operational tasks and ad hoc projects with mid-level complexity through to completion
• Understand and monitor RI issues that could affect company performance and be knowledgeable of global and regional industry standards, best practices, and regulatory trends
• Help with creation and production of RI reporting and white papers
• Be an integral part of a global team that is based in varying time zones

Your Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of RI policies and principles
• University degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required
• Fluent in business English and Arabic
• At least 3 years of financial services or equivalent experience
• High level of attention to detail
• Ability to adapt to changes in a fast paced, team environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to prioritize workload and manage time across various tasks
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software
