Junior Legal Counsel for MENA (based in KSA)
Your primary duty is to support on legal matters in the MENA region (KSA, UAE, Egypt). This role involves direct interaction with internal clients as well as external parties such as clients, vendors and other third parties.
You will be identifying and managing risk exposures, and delivering proactive, effective and strategic advice for our operations in MENA within legal function.

You will play an important role in advising on, drafting and negotiating commercial contracts and legal documents associated with each of the firm’s business lines with internal and external clients (service agreements, agency agreements, agreements with vendors, etc);

You will be assisting with general corporate, commercial and regulatory work;

Coordinate and manage work with the third parties law firms (where relevant) to act as liaison to the wider MENA group;

You will be assisting in processes and procedures in relation to legal & compliance document flow and correspondence (forms, templates, procedures, etc.) to ensure JLL and MENA best practice is followed;

You will perform other legal tasks and provide ongoing support to business and Head of Legal in MENA

Sounds like you? To apply you need to be:
Educated and experienced

Hold a law degree from a recognized law school and +2 years of post-admission experience in private practice or an in-house position.

Experienced in commercial and government template contracts reviews

Fluent in English and Arabic (including legal terminology)

Able to engage and manage a broad range of stakeholders with diverse skill-sets and personalities in a multinational environment

Commercially savvy, with a highly responsive, proactive, and solutions-oriented mindset. You are able to effectively juggle priorities to meet timeframes and deadlines set by the business.

Able to work independently as well as in a team.
