HVS Sourcing and Procurement Leader

Job Description Summary Ultimate owner of the buying process end to end for PT SER/HVS organization as per GE guidelines and processes. Manage the sourcing, procurement and logistics teams within MEA region to fulfil business needs through implementing lean processes and continuous improvement principles. Apply sourcing policy, interface between supplier and entity with respect to specifications and budgets. Interprets simple internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services. Stays informed of industry trends that may influence work. Continuously expanding our sourcing network through proactive approach to add suppliers and assess existing ones to drive quality, safety, cost and time optimization. Ensure full partnership with ITO during the tendering process to enhance our cost position and work hand in hand with OTR team to optimize the execution and drive cost out while seamlessly deliver on time and with quality. Job Description

• Own and track MEA regional performance against sourcing, procurement and logistics KPIs to drive excellence, Lean and optimization.
• Manage the teams of sourcing, procurement and logistics across HVS, Services and collaborate with global function leaders as well as other BL regional leaders to drive cross regions/BL initiatives
• Support the localization efforts in the region and establish needed processes as per GE guidelines and polices
• Place and follow-up on POs. Manage relationships with suppliers for PO execution. Manage problems and schedule changes. Update ERP.
• Support team asks and ensure process compliance

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Electric Engineering, mechanical engineering or role relevant degree.
• Minimum 10 year working experience in sourcing, procurement and or logistics with 5 years as a team leader
• Regional experience is mandatory
• Demonstrate strong track record of working and achieving results with cross functions teams
• Proficiency in English, Arabic are crucial and French speaking skill is nice to have
• Excellent stake holder and project management skills
