WSP is seeking a skilled and experienced Pavement Engineer to join our team for a prestigious airport development project in Riyadh, KSA. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the design, analysis, and implementation of pavement systems, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and performance.

• Design and Analysis:

  • Conduct comprehensive pavement design and analysis for runways, taxiways, and aprons.
  • Utilize advanced pavement design software and tools to create efficient and durable pavement solutions.
  • Perform structural evaluations and lifecycle cost analyses for various pavement materials.

• Project Coordination:

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including civil engineers, geotechnical engineers, and construction managers.
  • Provide technical guidance and support during the construction phase, ensuring adherence to design specifications and industry standards.
  • Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities to ensure project requirements are met.

• Quality Assurance:

  • Develop and implement quality control plans for pavement construction.
  • Conduct site inspections and testing to monitor the quality and performance of pavement installations.
  • Address and resolve any pavement-related issues that arise during construction.

• Documentation and Reporting:

  • Prepare detailed reports, drawings, and documentation related to pavement design and construction.
  • Maintain accurate records of project progress, materials used, and testing results.

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in pavement engineering, preferably in airport projects.
• Proficiency in pavement design software (e.g., FAA PAVEAIR, FAARFIELD, or similar).
• Knowledge of sustainable pavement design practices.
• Strong understanding of pavement materials, construction methods, and maintenance practices.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic project environment
