Position Objective:
Define asset policies, manage asset procedures, and implement asset tracking systems. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies while strategically planning, monitoring, and documenting hardware, software, and license assets. Possess extensive experience in asset management within the telecommunications industry, with hands-on experience in asset life cycle management, procedures, and standards.

Job Description and Responsibilities:
Design and implement strategies for asset tracking systems, Ensuring quality control throughout asset lifecycles.
Establish and enforce best practices and standards in asset management.
Strategically plan, monitor, and document hardware, software, and license assets.
Build Asset Registry: Asset valorization, Asset capitalization, Asset amortization, Asset retirement, Asset Impairment, Asset Data structure and Asset identification.
Ensure compliance with company contracts.
Promote compliance with asset management rules and KPIs.
Coordinate the registration of company assets in the asset management application program.
Interface with IT, Finance, and Technical Stakeholders on Asset Management matters.
Act as a liaison with the finance department on matters related to assets, depreciation, and book value analysis.
Foster a unified language between the Asset and Financial departments.
Develop procedures to maintain data integrity over the entire asset lifecycle.
Manage the classification of assets based on new requirements.
Execute Asset Policy Change Management, considering the RACI matrix and any updates.
Ensure easy access to documentation, including manuals & procedures, in line with security policies.
Create technical and/or financial digital Asset Tracker reports and conduct regular audits over KPIs, technical data, and financial data.
Facilitate regular asset management meetings.
Promote continuous improvement, and commitment from stakeholders, and gather information for Policy or any other Asset Changes.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Finance.
Minimum 10 years of Telecommunication industry experience
Minimum of 7 years of experience in Asset Management or a related field, including asset life cycle, procedures, and standards.
Professional certification such as Certified Asset Management Professional (CAMP), Certified Software Asset Manager (CSAM) or equivalent.
Experience managing and tracking physical and digital assets, including Asset Classification, Asset Tracking, and entire Asset lifecycle management.
Demonstrated experience in using asset management software and tools.
Executive Level Presentation Skills (PowerPoint, other)
Experience working with cross-functional teams, including IT, Finance, and Technical Stakeholders.
Experience conducting asset management audits and ensuring compliance with company contracts and policies.
Knowledge/experience of Business Intelligence Tools such as Power BI will be an advantage.
Proven experience in developing and implementing asset management strategies and plans.
Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English language.
