Position Objective:
The ServiceNow Developer and Administrator role aims to leverage expertise in the ServiceNow platform to design, develop, and administer various modules, integrations, and functionalities. This position will contribute to enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of business processes by creating custom applications, implementing integrations, and optimizing ServiceNow instance functionalities. The objective is to utilize technical proficiency to meet organizational needs and drive continuous improvement within the ServiceNow environment.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Design, construct, and deploy integrations, custom applications, and diverse modules on the Now platform.

Create and manage tables, fields, form layouts, sections, list controls, related lists, menus, and modules.
Develop client-side functionalities using various scripting tools such as Client Scripts, UI Pages, UI Scripts, UI Actions, UI Policies, and Macros, leveraging scripting and APIs extensively.
Implement server-side functionalities utilizing Business Rules, ACLs, Script Includes, Script Actions, and Scheduled Jobs, with a focus on scripting and APIs.
Build integrations using LDAP, Rest Message, SOAP Message, Transform Maps, and import sets, employing scripting and APIs like RestMessageV2 and GlideHTTPRequest extensively.
Develop and refine service catalogues and record producers through workflows, variable sets, catalogue client scripts, catalogue UI policies, and cart APIs, among other tools.
Enhance Service Portal pages and widgets to achieve diverse functionalities.
Contribute to mobile app development, enhancement, and configuration within ServiceNow platforms (Now Mobile & Agent).
Engage in ServiceNow instance upgrades, cloning, plugin activation, and data migration activities.
Design and develop custom applications utilizing the robust capabilities of the ServiceNow platform.
Collaborate within an Agile and Scrum development environment to deliver projects efficiently.
Customize UI Pages and associated functionalities, and develop next-gen experiences using UI Builder.
Create reports and dashboards to fulfil diverse requirements, leveraging ServiceNows reporting capabilities.
Possess a thorough understanding of Glide objects such as GlideSystem, GlideSession, GlideRecord, GlideForm, GlideAjax, GlideUser, GlideDateTime, GlideDuration, GlideSysAttachment, and GlideSchedule.
Develop custom notifications using events, email scripts, and HTML code.
Address and troubleshoot issues related to the above-listed components, ensuring smooth functioning of the ServiceNow environment.

Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelors of Computer or Information Technology
Min 6 to 8 years of combined experience in ServiceNow Administration and Development.
Understand the ServiceNow platform comprehensively, including its data model and metadata.
Hands-on Client Scripts, UI Pages, UI Scripts, UI Actions, UI Policies, and Macros, leveraging scripting and APIs extensively
Implement server-side functionalities utilizing Business Rules, ACLs, Script Includes, Script Actions, and Scheduled Jobs, with a focus on scripting and APIs.

ServiceNow Certifications:
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator
