FSS & CCTC Engineer

JOB PURPOSE:

Ability to work with other people, establishing an efficient, trusting relationship which helps to achieve the objectives which have been set for he processes in which they take part. In fact, he will be leading the team of technicians who he will have in charge, so he will have to be able to coordinate and manage properly their daily work.

It requires also coordination with members of other departments involved in the process.

Ability to provide fast and effective answers and solutions to technical problems, as well as to be work dedicated is a must. The person must be able to work under big pressure and in difficult situations, solve problems occurred during the track testing of the train units.

Quality Systems- Tidiness and Cleanliness: Knowledge and application of the quality, tidiness and cleanliness regulations and requirements in the organisation.

Occupational Risk prevention and the environment: Application of occupational risk prevention and environmental regulations which must currently be enforced in the organisation

KEY RESULT AREAS:

• Coordination between engineering and design departments with the local team to mobilize for the implementation of the modifications required
• Ensure the implementation of the modifications/ projects in time and the mobilization required to achieve the goals required.
• Review project drawings and schematics readings and transforming them into applied changes on the train
• To execute tests in tracks of the different units provided by CAF to the client, according to the protocols and procedures set by our Engineering dept and to the specifications of the client.
• To manage the incidences detected to recover and correct them.
• To elaborate reports about the activities carried out during the testing period, as specified in the CAF internal procedures.
• To properly deliver the product to the client.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• University qualification as Engineer specialised in Electronics or Electric.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the maintenance of rail, industrial, aeronautic or automobile equipment;
• Languages required English
• Spanish knowledge will be an asset
