Job Purpose:

Civil Engineer in engineering department provides technical support, Inspection, Maintenance, civil and structural review and strategic resolution that enhance and improve the plant safety, reliability and maintainability through review and implementation of CAPEX Projects, development of civil Maintenance Strategy and other reliability programs such as DE, RCA and LFI. Technical support and coaching for R&M personnel is a key role of this job.

Key Accountabilities:

• Assessing concrete and steel structures and foundations exposed to harsh environmental conditions and chemical exposure
• Conducting concrete assessment exposed to chlorides.
• Preparing concrete and steel structures’ inspection reports for industrial equipment.
• Developing Preventive Maintenance program for civil equipment structures and foundations.
• Conducting, evaluating soil settlement survey and developing mitigation methodology.
• Preparing repair methodologies for corroded steel structures.
• Developing deep excavation and excavation support scope of work.
• Preparing standard maintenance procedure and repair methodologies for civil equipment foundations and structures
• Developing scope of work for protection of underground utilities during heavy lifting.
• Conducting engineering analysis of structure for temporary supports and load capacity.
• Conducting assessment of seawater structures above and below ground.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in civil engineering

8+ years’ experience as a Civil Engineer in a petrochemical industry.
