Lab Supervisor (Saudi National )

• Maintain and ensure the compliance of laboratory test requirements and test reports to clients.
• Monitor the performance of lab chemists for the assigned jobs.
• Ensure chemists follow standard methods for all samples tested.
• Ensure lab is well organized for the day-to-day activities and with all safety measures.
• Oversee sample storage and disposal.
• Conduct risk assessments.
• Educate and train chemists and other employees.
• Ensure corrective actions are implemented for Test method Assessment findings.
• Analyze SQC samples, interpret data and respond to any condition as identified by this procedure.
• Report instances of non-conformances to the appropriate line management.
• Ensure that proficiency testing samples are done and reported on time.
• Initiate/establish Non-Conformance Report.
• Maintain and update the calibration record of the test equipment.
• Check the correctness of equipment calibration record.
• Intervene when an unsafe act or condition is observed.

• Bachelors degree in chemistry
• 4+ years’ experience in the same field in relevant laboratory activities
• Good knowledge of ASTM, ISO, IP methods etc.
• Familiar with the best laboratory practices.
• Able to record validation data and follow method validation.
• Able to interact with all levels of management and clients.
• Able to conduct risk assessments.
• Good knowledge of software and computer skills.
• Good knowledge of safety procedures.
• A sound understanding of the technical aspect of the section including methods, calibration maintenance and reporting LIMS procedures.
• A sound understanding of ISO 9001 & ISO 17025 requirements as applicable to the section.
• Strong leadership skills
