School Uniform Shop Coordinator

Are you a parent or member of The British International School Jeddah community looking for part-time work? Join our friendly team at Kapes as a School Uniform Shop Retail Assistant! This role involves providing outstanding customer service, maintaining product knowledge, and assisting with various tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our store.

Responsibilities:

• Greet fellow parents and students warmly and assist with their uniform needs.
• Have a comprehensive understanding of our uniform products and know which items are necessary for each grade level.
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the checkout system, ensuring all payments are handled securely.
• Monitor inventory levels and participate in restocking activities, including relabeling merchandise as needed to maintain a well-organized store environment.
• Handle returns and exchanges delicately by following established policies and procedures.
• Answer incoming phone calls promptly and courteously, addressing customer inquiries and providing assistance as needed.
• Assist with managing emails and live chat inquiries through our support platform, providing timely and helpful responses to customer queries.
• Utilize the e-commerce platform platform to manage online orders, update product information, and assist with fulfilling online purchases.

Requirements:

• Previous retail experience preferred but not necessary, with a focus on customer service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, especially during peak times.
• Basic proficiency in using technology, you will be trained to use point-of-sale systems, email platforms, and live chat software.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work some full days as needed during peak season.
• Availability to work 3 days per week during the academic year (excluding school holidays)
• Able to work between then hours of 8am and 2pm
• Availability to start working 2 weeks before the start of term
• Already has a visa
• We are looking for a female member of staff only

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: ﷼30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18 per week
