Our mission is to streamline and enhance the efficiency of B2B transactions while empowering retailers with access to a wide range of suppliers and cutting-edge fintech services. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to join our team and play a key role in optimizing our operational processes.
Job Summary:
As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and improving the day-to-day operational activities of the company. Your strategic mindset, organizational skills, and leadership abilities will be instrumental in driving operational excellence, enhancing efficiency, and ensuring a seamless experience for our platform users. This role provides a unique opportunity to contribute to the success of a pioneering venture that is reshaping the landscape of B2B retail in Saudi Arabia.
Responsibilities:
- Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement efficient workflows to enhance overall operational effectiveness.
- Supply Chain Management: Collaborate with suppliers, logistics partners, and internal teams to optimize the supply chain, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products to retailers.
- Quality Control: Establish and enforce quality control standards to guarantee the consistency and reliability of products and services offered through the platform.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Inventory Management: Develop and implement strategies for effective inventory management, minimizing stockouts and excess inventory while maximizing turnover.
- Vendor Relations: Cultivate strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure smooth collaboration and negotiate favorable terms for the benefit of the company.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and company policies in all operational activities.
- Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify areas for improvement in operational efficiency.
- Customer Experience: Collaborate with customer support teams to address operational issues promptly, ensuring a positive experience for retailers and suppliers using the platform.
Requirements:
- Educational Background: A Bachelors degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field is essential. Holding a Masters degree or relevant certifications is considered a plus.
- Experience: Proven experience in operations management, preferably within a B2B or e-commerce environment, is crucial. Previous experience in the retail industry is advantageous.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated strong leadership and people management skills are required, coupled with the ability to inspire and lead a diverse team effectively.
- Analytical Skills: Possession of excellent analytical and problem-solving skills is a must, including proficiency in data-driven decision-making. Familiarity with data visualization tools and advanced Excel capabilities will be highly beneficial.
- Communication: Effective communication skills are essential, including the ability to convey complex ideas clearly to different stakeholders.
