Directional Drilling Consultants
A leading oilfield services company is seeking experienced Directional Drilling Consultants to join their team on a rotational basis in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will be an expert in directional drilling, with specific experience in Motor or Positive Displacement (PD) Orbit tools. Responsibilities of the Directional Drilling Consultant:
  • Utilise real-time data acquisition and advanced analytics to optimise directional drilling operations.
  • Monitor and adjust wellbore trajectories to ensure alignment with planned paths.
  • Analyse drilling performance data to identify and rectify inefficiencies, enhancing rate of penetration (ROP) and overall operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with geologists, engineers, and drilling operators to ensure seamless operations and effective decision-making.
  • Implement risk mitigation strategies by leveraging predictive analytics to foresee and address potential drilling issues.
Requirements:
  • Good English language skills.
  • Proven experienced with Motor or PD Orbit tools in directional drilling.
  • Strong background in data-driven decision-making within the oil and gas industry.
  • Able to work effectively in a rotational schedule in Saudi Arabia.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
