Major responsibilities of Quality Assurance Manager:

· Responsible for ensuring that end-to-end products and services meet Food safety, Quality, Health, and Safety standards set by NEOM and regulatory authorities within the NEOM Community Foodservices.

· Responsible and accountable for guaranteeing a highly effective quality and promoting a culture of quality within Tamimi contracts and its workforce.

· Assures consistent quality of production by developing and enforcing good, automated manufacturing practice (GMP) systems, validating processes, providing documentation, and managing staff through strict audit and inspection programs.

· Possesses good leadership skills, combined with strong analytical skills. He/she analyses data and recommends changes to production processes or quality controls to eliminate the problem. It is also key that he/she can identify safety-quality issues, and develop and monitor continuous improvement programs, aiming to reduce the number of defects and improve levels of quality in a consistent manner.

· Oversees and assures quality and Food Safety processes are continuously reviewed and revised where required.

· Responsible for maintaining the long-term continuity of product and service quality.

· The role also includes the improvement of the organization’s efficiency and profitability by reducing waste.

Key Accountabilities & Activities:

· Defines safety & quality standards, direct the Quality Assurance functions to ensure consistent, quality product, Food Safety and Hygiene.

· Participates in all safety, health, and quality activities to achieve goals and targets.

· Implements, ensures, and maintains compliance with International and local Quality standards.

· Develops, implements, and oversees Training Procedures, and specifications.

· Leads and maintains the Quality system for Food and catering events complaints data.

· Ensures all food quality standards are communicated and established on his/her site, ensure the verification and validation takes place through root cause analysis, corrective action, quality audits, and production and facility monitoring.

· Assures compliance with Food outlets SOP’s and customer, laws, and guidelines.

· Maintains appropriate client relationships and ensures continuous contractual performance.

· Monitors internal and external investigation for customer complaints and provides plan regarding opportunities for improvement.

· Develops and leads the Continuous Improvement program.

· Plans and executes audits and oversee the inspection regime for all Food Services outlets, to include review of internal processes and procedure and following of set SLA and SOP’s in order to verify and record the effectiveness of the corrective and preventive actions taken

· Conducts analysis of data and utilize that data to monitor trends and prepare reports for Community Services management personnel.

· Observes, identifies, and reports performance failures including unavailability & non-compliance incidents relating to the service providers in his site.

· Prepares and drives the implementation of ISO 9001:2015 for all NEOM related sites.

· Ensures to deliver consistency and uniformity an effective, efficient service assurance procedures and producing appropriate records, reports, financial and statistical information.

· Performs all other related duties as requested by Food Safety & Health and Quality Assurance Sector Manager.

· Performs quality control analysis including tests and inspections of products and processes.

· Maintains quality manuals and quality records.

· Reviews and reports the principle causes of quality loss and non-conformance.

· Ensures all checklists are properly completed and all non- compliance found have had the root cause analysis, correct action taken and signed off (when and if required, contact customers)

· Arranges, coordinates, and participates in external quality audits.

· Completes customer compliance documentation and keep data analysis.

· Leads annual management review and verify their compliance with Food Safety and quality standards

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience :

· An effective leader, people and process manager and effective communicator.

· Proven track record of managing multi-site FS and QC

· Proven experience in theory and operations and development of Food Safety, inclusive of ISO 22000:2018, HACCP, Quality Management (ISO 9001:2015),

· 6 sigma, certification would be beneficial.

· Experience with ISO 14001:2018, environmental safety would be beneficial.

· NEBOSH – OHS or ISO 45001:2018, certification would be beneficial.

· Very good working knowledge GMP and Food Safety requirements and regulations

· Must have a flexible approach to work and be able to work as part of a team.

· Strong English language ability, both spoken and written.

· Must be confident in using computers, tablets, and software applications, including Microsoft Office and other related systems.

· Initiative-taking, self-starter can work independently.

· Strong client and customer service focus

· Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines.

· Ability to deal with people in a manner which shows professionalism, sensitivity, tact, and efficiency.

· Must have Middle East work experience.

· Remote working experience is beneficial

Qualifications:

· Possesses a minimum of 7 years of relevant leadership experience in the field of quality assurance and Food Safety

· Bachelor’s degree in quality assurance management and/or Quality Control, chemistry, food science biology or any related field

· Relevant, updated qualification and certification in Food Safety, QC and Quality Management systems.

· Must be certified Lead Auditor for quality systems.

· Comprehensive knowledge about all Food Safety standards that are customary within the food industry and mandated by government regulations include the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) management system required by the Saudi Food and Drug Administration (SFDA)

· Comprehensive knowledge of Middle East region food industry and catering quality standards, production methods, microbiology, and food processing.
