Job Summary:

As the Managing Director (MD), you will be responsible for leading our newly launched business - serving retail in KSA (starting with Jeddah) toward achieving its strategic objectives and maximizing profitability. We are seeking a dynamic individual with a self-driven and motivated personality, possessing excellent presentation and organizational skills. Your role will involve extensive collaboration between stakeholders (agency, retailer, and execution production companies), necessitating a deep understanding of their operations and needs. Additionally, knowledge of trade and event marketing is essential for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership: Provide visionary leadership to the organization, setting clear goals and objectives in alignment with the companys mission and values.
• Business Development: Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities, leveraging your experience in working with advertising agencies and FMCG companies to drive revenue and market share.
• Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to ensure long-term sustainability and competitive advantage in the market.
• Financial robustness: Run financial planning, budget management, procurement, and cost optimization. Define KPIs for holistic business strategy, ensuring efficient resource allocation and financial health.
• Operational Excellence: Oversee day-to-day operations, optimizing processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and productivity across all departments.
• Business Expansion: Utilize your expertise in trade and event marketing to find new opportunities and strengthen our presence in existing ones.
• International Experience: Leverage your experience working in Arabic countries to navigate cultural nuances and establish strong business relationships, particularly in Saudi Arabia where the position is based.

Qualifications:

• Proven track record of executive leadership, preferably as a GM or MD or in a similar senior management role.
• Extensive experience working with advertising agencies and large FMCG companies, with a strong understanding of industry trends and dynamics.
• Demonstrated knowledge of trade and event marketing, with a history of successful campaign execution and ROI optimization.
• Excellent organizational and management skills, proven track record successfully managing multiple counterparties.
• Experience working in Arabic countries is highly preferable, with a deep understanding of cultural sensitivities and business practices.
• Willingness to relocate and be based in Saudi Arabia.
