About the position

We have an excellent opportunity available for an experienced Food Service Channel Head to make a difference at Upfield in the strategically important market of Saudi Arabia. This Country is the priority market for Upfield in the region and is primed for market leadership.

The role encompasses managing the distributor relationship and sales team effectively to deliver the sales targets set. The responsibility is broad as you will be required to manage multiple key account relationships within the channel to further develop our brands. This role will report directly to the Head of Sales MENA and have regular exposure to the senior management team, it is therefore critical you can communicate effectively, be confident and own your business performance. There will be 3 direct reports reporting to this position so experience in managing teams across the country will be critical.

So what does it take to be successful in this role?

• Overall Responsibility: Directly oversee the profit and loss (P&L) statement for Upfields Food Service sales in Saudi Arabia, ensuring profitability.

• Team Management: Lead and manage a team of Food Service Sales Managers, coordinating sales strategies and activities.

• Channel Management and Expansion: Supervise all Food Service channels (Horeca, Wholesale, E-commerce), utilizing distributor sales teams for sales growth and expansion.

• Strategic Initiatives: Drive strategic initiatives such as new product launches, key account management, and sales strategy implementation to meet targets.

• Performance Evaluation and Optimization: Regularly review sales performance, forecast accurately, and manage trade spending efficiently while maintaining strong relationships with customers and supply chain partners.
